Another smokey day

There was a new fire in Montana this morning. The smoke was covering the mountains and you could really smell it. The winds have settled down the mountains are still smoke covered but at least I can go outside without smelling the smoke. The west needs rain badly. Some of these fires are going to burn until it snows now.

Smokey Mountains

We are surrounded by smoke today because of all the fires. The Pryers are smoked in because of the fires in Montana and the Big Horns from the fires in Wyoming. Our basin is quickly filling up with smoke. I won't be hanging the laundry outside today. I am glad I went out early this morning to finish weeding the garden. Oh well I guess I will take my Claritin and stay inside and work on some jewelry. I do miss my view from my craft window though.
